"When Life Throws you a rainy day, play in the puddles." ~Pooh Bear
Laly is a 14 year U.S. Army Veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After her military service, Laly began to volunteer with various Veteran Service Organizations which ultimately led her to work in the field of Mental Health specifically with Justice Involved Veterans and Veteran Treatment Courts. She realized that connections with Veterans are very valuable because establishing trust has been more effective among Veteran peers with shared or common experiences.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, going to museums, creating art, and volunteering in her community.
