Transitional Housing Village Now Accepting Applications

The San Antonio OH Village is currently accepting applications for 2 & 3 bedroom / 2-bathroom apartments. The Village is designed to enable families to heal together, while bridging the gap between military pay and veteran benefits.

What You Can Expect

Operation Homefront provides each family with:

• Rent-free, utility free, fully furnished apartment

• Case management and customized transition plans

• One-on-one financial counseling

• Employment coaching

• Support network

• Length of stay averages between 8 to 12 months

Program qualifications - Who can apply?

• Post 9/11 combat wounded, injured, or ill medically discharged veteran with family waiting on VA compensation.

• Active duty post 9/11 combat wounded, injured, or ill medically discharged service member and family in the medical board process with VA appointments initiated.

• Veterans or service members with special circumstances will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

• Operation Homefront reviews applicants for each property, collects supporting documents and selects a military family who meets the program eligibility criteria.
