Grace After Fire has been funded by the sweat and tears of women Veteran volunteers, the community at large with private donations, and our staff of committed women. Everyone has given their time, their money, and their heart to the mission of providing a safe haven for our women Veterans. Grace After Fire is a program which has been in business since 2008 serving women in need of help. In the past we have been awarded several competitive grants.
We are raising resources to continue our work and bring even more programs to our women Veterans and their families. We know that there are many private foundations that share our mission and we are looking for you. We realize that these are hard times financially for our country, but we know too that when it comes to our Veterans, especially our women Veterans, we will respond. Whether it is a dollar per person or a gifted bed for a woman's child, our country will respond.
"A Veteran - whether active duty, discharged, retired, national guard, or reserve -is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America'for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' "–Author Unknown
Together, let's give what we can. Every dollar allows us to answer the phone, return an email, and help her get the healthcare and mental health services she deserves.
Many corporations will match your gift to Grace After Fire.
Every gift helps us serve more women Veterans who could benefit from our programs and referrals.
Grace After Fire is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity. Your donation is tax deductible.
